KIA in Ardennes Lw Flak Soldbuch

    Hello all

I have recently seen the post about KIA in Ardennes Sb or Wp.
Here is mine : a very interesting early Flak soldbuch, established in february1940. The man have participed to the mains operations of german army : invasion of France, fight in East (Minsk, Cholm, Koursk), AA protection in France (Brittany - south of France - Picardie) between march or April 43 and summer 44 : heavy fighting in Normandy (Bayeux - Argentan - Rouen) with Flak Sturm Regt. 3 (III. Flakkorps), and fighting in Ardennes offensive with AA protection of Kampfgruppe Peiper (Honsfeld - Büllingen - Baugnez - Ligneuville - Stavelot). The man died on 20 december of 44, probably in Cheneux in heavy ground fights against troops of 504th US Airborne Regiment.
Note that his unit, the leichte Flak Abteilung 84, was equiped with "Selbstfahrlafette" 2cm guns.

    Comments are welcome !

Like I said in thread started by Nico C: Taken in consideration the hugh losses of the German army during the battle of the bulge; they are not very common.

      Cheers,
      P

              Hello all

Thanks a lot for your comments, and Ian, for the information about place where he lies.
I think it is indeed a nice soldbuch. Has someone already seen such model of book ? It is the own I have and I have seen.
