    Guys,

    I guess this comes good with time, but I still can't read this...

    Any guesses? I reckon its Gültan Pollauz

        Tim, you are right: the name is Gustav Pollanz.

        The family name Pollanz is very seldem, only 2 Pollanz you find in the recent German phonebook.

          This soldbuch was on the estand recently and I needed the name for my ek1 project.

            Well, the surname Pollanz looks more popular in Austria. I wouldn't be surprised this man was Austrian as well, but I can't make out his place of living (Wohnort). The scan is a bit blurry and there's a brown spot on it. His street "Dr. Todt Ring" is better legible.

              Hello,

              His Wohnort is "Klagenfurt".

              He lived at the "Dr Todt Ring" number 35 in Klagenfurt.
              Personally I don't think that street has the same name anymore in 2007.
              And if it is still in use it is probabily first street on the right on the Adolf Hitler boulevard when you come from the Herman Goering highway.
