Hello. i just wanted to post some pics of my greategrand dad medical id. He was at Stalingrad, and spent 5 years in russian captivity, but was one of the lucky few to come back home. (see my tread in the "collection display" part of the forum)

Interesting ID picture showing a very early DRK tunic (late 20's early 30's is my guess based on the huge red Cross collar tabs and tunic's fly front cut=hidden buttons) on a 1935 issued ID card, valid thru 1939. It shows a Weimar era issuance stamp and counter stamped with a 3rd Reich style stamp. Thanks for sharing! I own 3 DRK uniforms. Nick
