    Medical Soldbuch entries

Could someone please help me with these illness entries in a Soldbuch? Seems he has been through quite some hospitals and got some sort of heart disease. Found out Krankheit #17 is blood disorders. "Schenkelblock" has something to do with the heart. Seems he received surgery in february 1942 as well.

The Stabarzt entry on page 14 is probably related to his illnesses as well. I can make out he was not found fit for Infantry service, but could someone translate the whole sentence please?

    Thanks!

And last the medical entry on the next page.

If you would need any additional information, please ask.

        Hi Tim,
I will start with the first page:

        Haemorrhoiden - piles
        Haemorrhoiden Entzündung - piles inflammation
        Struma (Kropf) - goitre
Faustgroßes Struma Operation 28.2.42 goitre (big as a fist)

Schenkelblock Coronarisinssuffiziens - should be a certain heart disease

        the next page:

Zustand nach Schilddrüsen Operation mit Herz-, Gefäß- und Reizleiterstörungen - situation after a goitre surgery with problems at the hart, vascular and stimulus
Beurteilung: bed. K.V, nicht Inf. tauglich - report /assessment : under conditions fit for service, but not for the infantry.

Sorry, I am not a medical doctor - and my English is very rusty.

          Hi Gerdan,

Thanks for the translations. I did some searches on google and now understand what his problems were. He was a WW1 vet, called up for service in 1939, serving as a lorry driver but after his surgery only in multiple reserve units. Now I see why

Do not try google images for Haemorrhoiden
