Can anyone tell me about the Feldkommandantur 750 and Verbinddungsstab 993 listed in the Soldbuch of Stabsfeldwebel Josef Simones. An older man, (born in 1899) he served throughout the entire war reaching the rank of Hauptfeldwebel and was awarded only the KVK 2. Klasse m. Schwerten through the Military Befehlshaber in Frankreich.
Were these units attached to divisions in the Field?
