Hi.

I have this SS dogtag and wonder if the E stands for Ersatz and the G for Germania ?
Strange if this is a Ersatz dogtag as the Verfugungstruppe is a early unit.

Yep, this is a typical Ersatz Bataillon to Germania regiment tag.
