For every posting I make you and your friends have the proof, with the most fantastic original documents!!!
Those KL-guards were real scum, can you even imagine what the amounts are that he must have stolen to get the death penalty and even being executed, we have to remember that theft was considerd quite normal with these fellows.
Just to say that the "Sachsenhausen" conected wp's and sb's that came on the market in the 90's had some very good examples in it.

Just my thoughts about your executed KL-guard:
Because he was convicted in Berlin their is a great chance that he was imprisoned in Charlottenburg military-prison, they executed in this prison for this type of crimes with a guillotine.
I have heard about KL-guards being imprisoned themselfs in the "bunker area's" (cellblock in a KL) of a KL for a short while but never have I heard about one being executed in the KL itself. Would this have been the case it would have been a moral boost for the political prisoners at that time.
Like I said just speculations I don't have proof.

I whole heartedly agree that it is such a shame that a thread like this, which has been viewed over 4000 times, has only had a few collectors views. Over the years I have seen a few very desirable and expensive KL SB's and WP sold to various collectors, so we know there are a lot more out there. I totally understand that some collectors do not wish to show items from their collection and to be honest, I was a little hesitant myself. However, information not shared is information lost, and I will continue to show my collection as the need arises if it will assist future or existing collectors.

One of my referencebooks quotes that three German soldiers were beheaded by the guillotine of the prison in Danzig. The had commited the crime of having had sexual contact with jewish female prisoners on the transports going to the exterminiationcamps.
The book does not give more detailed information; is their someone who knows more of these trials and deadsentences against guards?
Richards sb & wp group of the sob that got caught by his own friends, is in my opinion one of the best I ever saw.Comment

This looks like one of the many KL-sachsenhausen related wp's that came on the market in the 1990's, these wp's have recently (2 months ago) been debated in this section of the WAF under a thread started by Gary T. about a KL auschwitz wp sold on the e-stand, in this thread you can find a lot of information about these wp's.

Just what I thoughed, just one type of "kl-sachsenhausen"-stamp, this wp doesn't not give me a good feeling.
Sorry their is also the cirkeltype but I like that one either.
To be honest I think it is a fake.
A home made upgrade from an almost empty wp just like the one we debated in the previous thread, this proofs my point again.
It looks like the brother of the wp that thread started with!!!!
When did you buy it and from who, did they claim it is 100% original?
Please look a the thread about this wp's and look at the differences between the stamps in yours and the ones shown that are 100% original in the thread.
