Hi, can anyone tell me if their was a SS Pz ers. rgt 2? I have seen a tag with that on it.

Sure, there was one.
Started in Weimar Buchenwald 1.6.42 as SS-Pz.E.Abt. Reinforced chaned name to SS-Pz.E.u.A.Abt. 1.5.43 Changed to Regiment strenght and moved to Beneschau/ SS-Tr.Ub.Pl. Bohmen and later to SS-Tr.Ub.Pl. Seelager in Riga.
15.8.44 moved to Tr.Ub.Pl. Wandern and later this year to TrUbPl Sennelager /Paderborn.
There are different types of tag issued by this unit - from pretty crude ones to nice machine stamped stainless steel ones.

Did you maybe misread the unit Lee asked about it Al? Sure there was an SS-Panzer-Ersatz-Regiment, but I still find no listing for an SS-Panzer-Ersatz-Regiment 2.
