Interesting Soldbuch /Wehrpass ... almost 'biblical'

To 'liven' up the document section of the forum here are a few odd ones from my collection. (Komm Leute, was habt ihr in euer Sammlungen!!)

Here is the Soldbuch to Wilhelm Jerusalem

He served with the Armee Pferde Lazarett 598 and won (only) the KVK II m. Schwerten

And here is the Wehrpass to Wasserpolizist Friedrich Israel

Isreal served with the 2. Matrosen Div. as a Vizefeldwebel during the First World War. He won the KVK II. Klasse while with the Wasserpolizei in the Second World War.

This is the Wehrpass to Obergefreiter Kurt God.

He served during the First World War in Russia with the Ers. Abt. Telefon Batl. 7. His only award was the Frontkaempferkreuz. During the Second World War he was recalled and served in France with a number of Artillery units including Artillerie Abteilungen 641 and 631. and Heeres Kuestenartillerie Abteilung 528.

He had quite a battle history with the units he served with.

Sehr geehrter Herr Ludwig! (da meine email zurueckgekommen ist, poste ich meine Antwort hier)


Ich habe keine weitere Information ueber Herrn Jerusalem erhalten. Ich habe nachgeschaut, ob er oder seine Angehoeriger noch am Leben sind allerdings erfolglos.

Da Ihre Grossmutter sagte, das der Grossvater eine schwarze uniform getragen hat...nun, es koennte sich um eine Arbeitsuniform handeln....die waren aber normalerweise nur weiss Drillich.
