Dogtag help

Hello, I think I have a Fallschirmjager tag. It looks like the standard dogtag. It reads in the middle on top 23 then to the right on the edge letter B below that it reads 3./FSCH.SAN.ABT.7. The bottom half reads the same. Sorry no pics. non magnetic. any help would be great. Thanks Dale B

Unfortunately Dale, chances are your disc is not authentic- the Fallschirmj******228;ger wore coded discs like Luftwaffe flying unit personnel, so clear text like you say is on yours isn't normal. I'm unaware of any confirmed cases of a non-coded disc being worn by a Fallschirmj******228;ger, so any discs that are clear text are usually fakes.
