    Torpedoinspektion

First time in this section of the forum.....I've recently been given this & a small amount of other paperwork....
My knowledge of these sort of things is very limited and my german reading ability isn't much better, so can someone please shed a little more light on the document below, as it appears to be quite interesting

Well, I'm probably off base with this, but it seems to be a "water sports radio certification". As required by government regulations, he met the requirements and thereby joins the "Seaman's population".
Also says (among other things) that when he's called up, he should present this certificate. If he volunteers, he should send to appropriate office.

Hope that helps a bit. Wierd document, but looks okay...

At this time i believe this authority, the Inspekteur des Torpedowesens, also had control over the navy's signals training school. That explains why you see the Torpedo Inspection title on document relating to signals training. The signature is that of Kapitän zur Zee Erhard Maertens, chief of staff of the inspectorate at the time and later Vizeadmiral.
