Hi Guys dont often visit this part of the forum but seems really interesting Any help with the wording will be most appreciated. All are from Soldbuchs. All opinions welcome.

This one is from a wehrpass wehrp flichtiger kv zur ers res. (some form of reservist?)

How do i go about researching the movement of these battlions to see where they fought? Once again many thanks and all help has been much appreciated

kv - Kreigsverwendungsf******228;hig - fit for active duty
zur Ersatz Reserve - to Replacement Reserve

So you have a "Conscript fit for active duty with the Replacement Reserve".

Replacement units are easily traceable to location but they most probably were not in combat as they provided cadre, reserves, training etc. for frontline units.....obviously some were in combat later during 1944/45 when the front came to them instead of them going to the front!

I will have a look later when I get home for the units you mentioned above....

In post #10 it's stamped he received his "Putzzeuggeld". Translates to being paid for cleaning supplies. I have no idea if that means body soap and shampoo, or brooms and mops...
