                  Hey Jokka,
What do you mean by Buying from Poland it's a red flag itself?
Is something wrong with us ? Have you bought so many items from here?
Is also Manions.com or Ebay.com/Ebay.De/Epier.com also Polish sites? Or maybe one can't buy fakes there? Fakes can be bougt dependless on location. It's just a question of one's experience. I admit that one can buy almost perfect fakes in Poland. But one is buying these not from Poles but just from dishonest people and these you can find in Poland, Germany, US or Norway. So please don't generalize because it's simply unfair and shows some predjudice of yours. And I hope and strongly belive that most of the people here aren't really interested about that.

Speaking about tag itself - I belive it's a fake.
                  All best
                  Al

Well, it's well visible on the pictures. You can find the drill holes in the end of the Trennschlitzen slits. One did it and than cut out the slits with jig-saw. Bit labour consuming to me. I wonder why people put so much effort into productio of such a c.r.a.p., especially that the prices for these aren't that high.
                      Cheers

The neck cord and bottom holes do look to be drilled too- there's a little raised edge around each one suggesting the hole was drilled from the other side.

Sorry, didn't mean to offend anyone.

There's nothing wrong with people from Poland, but in my surroundings (dagger collectors) it's a known fact that a lot of fakes comes from (and probably are made) in Poland. So buying from Poland is a red flag because it's more likely to be a fake. Please look up the meaning of "red flag".

PS: Polish free fighters was some of the toughest fighters during WW2, they did a hell of a job after they was invaded as we (Norwegians) also was

                              Ok, no problem.
I guess the fakes are all around. I guess one can find lot's of them in Germany, Spain or UK. But in these cases buyers are bit sceptical. When buying in Poland people expect to discover lots of genuine items from people wo don't know the value. Well if one is thinking that he is some 30 years too late. So probably the bigger is the disappointment. The fakes circulate from Poland to Germany ( like tags or poor badge fakes) Czechia to elswhere ( soldbuchs, WP, etc) Germany to elswhere ( edged weapons, badges, poor ID tag fakes, etc).
Generally I'm thinking twice wherever I'm buying, because most of fakes are advertised as originals dependless if in Germany or Poland.
                              Cheers
