Award help

I cant figure out what this award is, I can see "Krieg" but it doesn`t help me any. Any ideas anyone.

Ehrenkreuz f******252;r Kriegsteilnehmer.....basically Hindenburg Cross 1914-18 for non combattants.

Hi Ian, and thanks once again, I`ve never seen it called that before, only known it as Ehrenkreuz fur Frontkampfer, thats what put me off, as service in the last year of WWI is mentioned in the pass

Yes that is the combatants (Frontkämpfer) award with swords....the non-combatant (Kriegsteilnehmer) was the same only minus the swords.

Then of course there is the war widows vesion........
