as a newcomer just like to say hi to everyone, and ask for some help, does anyone know how inserts were fixed into the buch i am thinking of additional uniform items did they just glue them on top of an existing page and cover the info underneath. also was the combat record for the ccc fixed in or left loose.

Welcome to the forum steles,

There were numerous ways of inserting extra pages into the Soldbuch, some were glued in covering existing entries, some were glued at the edge of the left or right page so that existing entries could still be seen, also some were stapled in, again showing existing entries.

Obvoiusly over time some have come away and/or even been removed!
