Dear Mr. May,

Thanks for showing us such a nice combination.
Booklets and IDs like these aren't often seen and quite rare.
I think at the end of the war no one wanted to walk around with such an ID in his pocket !

Does page 19 show Kommandogeld, so to say, payment for special service in the east ?

Yes Eric, page 19 list the extra Reichmarks paid for special operations (execution squads) in Russia. I believe for Volksdeutschers from Poland. Page 18 has been removed in all probability it contained detailed information with names and towns maybe dates of executions and the removal was for protection of the SS officer. Would appreciate futher info on this as my translation is poor. Thanks, G May

As far as I can read it , it says:

Seite 17-18 amtlich entfernt, stamped, name and rank.
Page 17-18 officialy removed.

Looks like something was written on that 17-18 page that wasn't allowed to see the light.

Can be a nice research project.
