Careful, it sounds like you are whining. How sad, you can write a great article on Wehrpass' on your site, but come off here with a condescending attitude! You destroy your own credibility. You get so emotional.

To quote you, "...saying 'translate this'". Wrong GaryT. I asked and did it very politely. Don't put words in my mouth to bolster your argument.

You have succeeded. You won your insult battle and taught me a lession. Don't go to the Wehrpass site. There is an unfriendly person there. The neighborhood bully, per se.

Time to calm down now gents......

Do you know how many PM's, emails I get regarding translations? Do you know how many people ask the same question on the forum?

Gary's point is, try it yourself and eventually it will come to you!!! There are many people on this forum who don't even do a simple Google or Yahoo search...half the time the answer is there!!!! Some people just want there arse whipping because they are too lazy to do it themselves....

I don't have the time to partake in the forum at the moment due to work commitments but some people think that this is all I should do!!!!

I have in the past done these translations for people and yes I have been paid a small sum for this, however it is time consuming.

However, think about it....to post a complete Wehrpa******223; and what does this say is asking a bit much....look through past posts and see how many people have answered to complete Wehrp******228;sse translations.

If you are interested in finding out yourself then Gary's site is well worth a visit....sites like this and even the internet were not around when I started collecting so life is a little easier now!

Anyway, no more bickering or I will close the thread.

When I started the thread, I most certainly did not intend it to go this way. I HAVE visited Gary's Site. Yes it is very educational.

I have already received multiple PMs offering me assistance. And yes, since the thread has turned downward, it may as well be closed.

No, I just don't like lazy, bone idle people who want something for nothing.

I've done plenty of translations and research for a large number of people. And I've never charged a penny.

I usually don't like to see groups split up but in this case I think it's a good thing...at least the WP has ended up with someone who probably appreciates it's historical value.

Hello being new to this forum I don't think it looks good to new members or guests when they look at people squabbling. Perhaps the moderators should discuss the option of closing this thread, but I do not wish to cause anymore trouble it is just an observation.
