      Thanks Ian.

Unfortunately it says nothing about"Verband 802 des Sonderverbandes Brandenburg", "Verband Wildschütz" and "SS-Jagdverband Südost".

I hope to find something about these ones.

      Best wishes

          Hi Joerg,

Volume 3 of Helmut Spaeter's History of Pz Korps GD (scanned in haste) has a fair amount of the early Brandenburgers. In March 1940 you had the Bau-Lehr-Bataillon z.b.v 800 (a cover name for this speacial operations force used in the 10 May offensive); in August 1940 this unit helped form the Lehr-Regiment Brandenburgz.b.v 800 with three Bau-Lehr Btl.

          Hope this helps.

          Mike

Verband 802 formed 20.11.1942 in Admont/Steiermark from the II Btl (5,7,8,kp) of Lehr-Rgts Brandenburg z.b.V. in 1.4.1943 Rgt.2 Brandenburg. Part of Sonderverband 800.

Im Jahr 2002 zählte der Verband 802 Mitglieder und 9'557 Milchkühe

At least there was this funny answer from Switzerland to my google search to have me breathe again.

All the other informations I found about the Wehrpaß left me breathless.
Try again, using "Verband 802" and above all "Verband Wildschütz" (don't forget the ""!)
              Your WP is a jewell.

              Congratulations!

Wow! That guy was Brandenburg through and through!

Did he become an officer by the end of the war?
