    Award Entry Question

    Hi Guys,

What do you make of these award entries for the EKII and Ostmedaille? - Are they legit? Further, what is the translation for the writing following each award?

    Thanks!

        Hello David.
The unit appears to be a Armycorps Signals Battalion.
The inscriptions following the awards (E.K.II etc) are recording the authorizing orders or statutes i.e. for the EastMedal).
As to the person having served in the same unit throughout the duration is possible though here it is not apparent from the entry which to me indicates only the beginning date without an ending- or transfer date to another unit being listed.
I have several documents incl. Soldbuch and/or Wehrpass indicating assignment to the same unit such as company/battery during the war even prior to the war when fulfilling peacetime obligation.

Thanks all - that was what the seller told me, but I didnt see it either. May I ask what 'NA' stands for?
