    Unissued Luftwaffe Soldbuch

    I paid $10 for this yesterday. It is near mint except for rusty staples.
    Did I get a good deal? Were there more than 1 pattern, as there is no spot for a photo in this example (taken up by a list of 10 don'ts for German soldiers).
    Also, is it real or not? I believe it is (does not glow, smells old, and looks like it has seen 60+years of life).

        looks great to me. Of course a wonderful bargain.
        Lucky you got hold of it rather than some faker who could fill it out to a para !
        I have an army soldbuch almost as mint as this, but it has been used.
        When you get a minty soldbuch it really is something special !

          I do not know why people do such things as ruining nice original unissued pieces by filling them in. Well, that means they will become rarer and more expensive through time as the latter scenario keeps happening.
          I am very happy with it, and I bet you are happy with your Heer one!

            I think that you have done really well - - in all my 30+ years collecting I have just one unissued wehrpass and one unissued Luftschutz soldbuch !!

            There is a dealer on this side of the pond who charges £200 for such items !! They sell too !!!

              have u done a light test on it i have many lw books with no place for photo
