          You're absolutely correct. How many times have we seen fellow collectors post up highly questionable or completely obvious fakes for review after they had already purchased them? Countless times. A review of the item would have saved them a lot of grief

            Pointsettia Auctions (or something like that name) is having an auction coming up in 5 days.
            They also are advertising a lazy 2 KC.
            The hype for both of these medals is that the owner is dead and "can't tell us where he got them but he kept them under lock and key with his most valuable possessions"!

                            Latvian fake with the horizontal folds in the wreath on either side of the date which is not a known trait of originals from any maker and "real" S&L produced crosses are thought to be postwar by most anyhow.
