Quick notes: prongs are at least strange and digit “3” is suspicious, but this could be because of the fuzzy picture…waiting for better pics…

I agree the prongs look suspicious. Are they 4 individual soldered pieces, or only 2 bent up at both ends?

The spange itself looks convincing ... upon closer look ... have these pronges been soldered on as replacements? It appears there are two blobs of solder in the middle of each double prong ...

You maybe correct about soldering. It could be from repair, so the prongs maybe are replacements only. The front of the spange looks very interesting, however I’m worrying about digit ”3” in “1939”. I would like to see better front picture.

Well it would be interesting to have some clearer pictures ... Just recently I found out that there were two dies for L/13 Spanges EK2. THey looked VERY different too ... not too sure I'd count this one out yet

Can you get a closer picture Anthony? It may be easier to compare.

                            Darryl,

I don’t like it! Unless you got some convincing pictures to compare this spange is going down…sorry...
@Anthony: Don’t worry Anthony, nothing personal!
