Wonderful piece, Alan, congratulations! Can you tell if the core is copper? Also, if there is any gap in the frame at the base of the ring, can you see copper here as well? The SEM I did on mine showed a neusilber plated frame with a copper base and a copper core.

There is odd appearing beading on the superior portion of the 3 oclock arm of the cross. Would you be able to post any pics of that area as well with high detail? Thanks!

I can't see any signs of copper, or gaps in the frame.

Thanks Allan. Can you see any chips in the paint on the core to see if there is copper below. Also, the flawed beading is on the upper part of the 3 oclock arm on the outside of the beading. It is the "horizontal" beading, not the vertical part. Thanks
