can you please give your opinions on whether this is genuine or not? i feel the pin could be suspect but with my little knowledge i am probably wrong. or sorry about the pictures but i .am hoping they will be enough

I am not only concerned about the pin (as you have already stated), but do not like the appearence of the maker mark as well as the date on the obverse. Given the pictures provided, IMHO I would say this is a reproduction. Nonetheless, wait to hear from the forum experts before trashing it. Best of luck!

Sorry. You can find that type whit marks L/54 and 100, 107 also.
Look at my 1 on the front page and you will see the diff.

thanks for the help with the iron cross. Peter, unfortunately i am no further forward, the seller refuses to answer any e-mails. as i paid by paypal i was hoping they could do something but they told me as i had received the items there was nothing they could do , even though what i was sent was not what i paid for. paypal would only act if goods paid for are not received, gits!!! i am starting to think i will just have to grin and bear it.
