That doesn't look like a Souval frame. The inner corners aren't as rounded, and the outer corners are lacking the "crow's feet" beading.

if you purchase for reenactment than it might be worth that much, if for collection, invest bit more and you have perfect period ww2.

No good deed here.I gave the cross to the kid like I said I would and I will be damned if his mother did not send the kid back with the cross and he told me she said she did not want any of that Nazi **** in her house(the kid is 17).Live and learn.The thing is the kid had seen the badge and asked me to sell it to him.
