            Dear Peter,

            I do not think it is a marker, just a coincidence, some dust, a scratch, whatever. None of these type crosses are marked that way for EK2 assembly.

                  Im not that shure. If you look at maker 107 that aligment mark on EK1 is just like a mark for the place for a ring fit for a EK2.
