Here is one i have which the finish has turned a chocolate brown,possibly from light rust. Its marked 1, interestingly another fragment of a 1 is partially stamped below and at 7'oclock from the other.

Is it really, I wondered about that it has the catch and the hinge. Thanks for input.It was purchased years ago when these were flooding the market but most marked L/15.I had it hanging on a tunic.Darn good repro the seams are absolutely invisible.I had sold the tunic years ago and just got it back with the same cross on it and wanted to check you guys are very good in this forum.Im purging all my bad or questionable items so its going to the Bazaar.Thanks again.Last edited by John Pic; 04-18-2005, 12:24 PM.Comment
