    EK2 opinions please

This cross came with a group of EK1 and EK2 that I picked up years ago. All were good and most have been moved on but I set this one aside not sure about it. I am thinking it is a fake. For the record it measures 45.3mm wide both ways with no markings on the ring. Is this a "Stuttgart fake"? All opinions appreciated.

    Thanks
    Steve

This is one of the most interesting copies of EK2-1939.
I know, because I have a "small" collections of copies EK2-1939, more than a few dozen pieces. Thanks to this, I learn to recognize them, almost flawlessly

              All

Pardon my general lack of knowledge on the topic, but can you please provide explanation and details of this fake?

How can you tell this is a fake? What are the characteristics of the so-called "Stuttgart Fake"?

Thank you very much in advance for sharing

Various features one can pick out : .... center emblem sloppy, wide bead step with mostly rounded corners , straight arms ,
the over size last 9 in 1939 , flange too wide , very narrow bead crown .... just to pick the most obvious things .
In time when working with original crosses you will see the differences/problems right away .

Just for the record here is the packet that it came with. I am assuming it is a fake as well but have never researched any of these.

Interesting ..... but not the normal way the folds are done and font is different .
Probably not ... that name does not ring a bell either ???
The guys that deal with packets will know for sure .

IMO too - fake, but I'm not a bag specialist ...
