it looks like Brehmer to me with replaced ribbon

thanks yubari - then at least real!? including ribbon? did brehmer make crosses without the 'frosted' beading or more likely this one was stored poorly do you think?

I don't think it's Brehmer. IMO.

Better photos - these are pictures in front of the obverse and the reverse (without ribbons), preferably in daylight

Ribbon looks for sure not aged so with the cross does not go that well IMO.

Lack of frosting on what seems a good conditioned cross, could be the result of it being polished and then left to tone down.

Polishing will remove the frosting and leave the cross looking in a well looked after state.
