      Hi,

      Hi guys,

I got one red leather folder. But unfortunately the certificate inside is missing. Is that original? And how about its price?

      Thanks
      Jianan

Please don't smoke that cigarette in the presence of either the RK or its Folder.

          Nice looking pieces.

          Regards,

          Z

Don't like to disappoint, but it's not a KC folder.

It's an original Frieda Thiersch product, but "only" a folder for the larger Generalobert/Generalfeldmarschall promotion documents, as far as I know.

The KC Urkunden-Mappen have different dimensions and the eagle's design is already slightly different, incl. the swaz.

            Cheers,
            Markus

I have one of the same type of folder and have been looking, for decades, for the promotional document. I have never seen the large size document.

I've seen those up for sale frequently throughout the 20 years I'm collecting, but always without a document as far as I recall.

A lot of them are probably left over stock from the Reichskanzlei or Thiersch workshop?

I would not exclude the possibility these folders were meant universally for all sorts of different more formal presentation documents.
