    Markus,

Its a good question, but I think the answer is that Combat Badges like IABs, PABs & CCCs, etc. weren't regulated as stringently through the Prasidialkanzlei unlike RKs, KVK, DKs, etc. Klessheim is the final resting place of the Prasidialkanzlei and that is why there are RKs & KVKs & DKs there but not Combat Badges.

Dietrich, please correct me if I have that wrong.

If it doesn't have a hinge and catch, I'm not interested......well, maybe a little

      Tom,

that is absolutely correct. Schloss Klessheim, as resting place of the stock of the Präsidialkanzlei, held only those orders and medals which were handled by the PKZ. War badges were not stocked at the PKZ, but rather by the supply offices of the branches. The only exception was the Wound Badge and the occasional quality samples.

        Dear Tom and Dietrich --

        Thank you for your replies.

That's what I thought, but due to the somewhat 'special' status of the golden CCC presentation clasp (cased 'hook-version') I thought there was a chance it was handled by the PKZ exceptionally. Since, A.H. had originally wanted to present the clasp personnally (and did so on the first occations, only later to be handled by Himmler and Guderian) I thought there might have been number of clasps for presentation purposes at Klessheim or the Berghof.

I assume that besides the awarded examples there was an additional number of presentation Juncker hook-clasps stored somewhere in the Reich at the end.

Would they have been stored with the Supreme Command of the Army (OKH)?

        Cheers,
        Markus

          Markus,

I have never heard of a presentation Gold CCC being found among the Schloss pieces from the several people I know who bought items from the vets who had items from Schloss.
