EK2 mm4

Hello forum members.
Is this a war time pre 1945 produced cross.If so how can you tell this from a mm4 post war cross.
Please your comments welcome my friends.

I know you have been waiting for an answer on this .
Many factors to look at : frame die , material used , finishing of frame and core and mm , bead shape and depth , size and weight .
This is an early S&L with first core . S&L made such large quantities - for this maker - these first dies were long gone .
