    DK with Slight Problem

Just when you think you have seen it all - offered this morning a DK in Gold, missing the enamel swastika - just a big, empty, off-white circle in the middle with a couple of small holes........for only $1,350!!!!!!!!

If I had picked this up from a local source, I would have been hesitant to list it at $100. I have got to start thinking BIG.

    No Tim, just realistically.

But you know, some fool will pay that. Detlev has one listed right now that fits your description. Maybe someone can part it out. Sort of like a '68 Chevelle.

I saw one sold a week or two ago ( I think on a german website) for around 240 euros. Might be the same one and the person who bought it wants to make a quick buck !!!

        $1350 .

True ... but easier said than done. The Swastika is held onto that silver plate by tabs that are folded underneath before the silver plate is riveted into place with the wreath and backplate.

It would be do-able, but the ability to stick it back together and not made to look like a crappy repair job would take some doing ...
