    Cased KVKII W/O swords.

I was lucky enough to acquire a cased KVKII w/swords. I have been patiently awaiting Gordon's book on the KVK, but I am dying of curiousity.

Was there a cased version of the KVKII w/o swords? If so, does anyone have an example they can post?

    Thanks.

    Hey Cousin,

    An intelligent question Jim

I would hazard a guess of, yes ! Why not, the one with swords were available in the box.

Further to that if you look on this example of my Ldo box, on the underside desigantion there is a space for the 'class' and a space for 'ohne' or 'mit' for the swords. The class and with or without swords is hand written in.

I think it's reasonable to assume that boxed examples without swords were catored for.

That's a very good conclusion, Marcus!

Very good Marcus! There is unfortunately nothing written on the bottom of my case, which of course you have seen.

For curiousity sake, would you mind posting a couple of photos of your cross? I've never seen it up close.

And again, if anyone is fortunate enough to own one of these, could you please post a photo?

        Thanks.

The cross Jim...sure, sorry about the quality I took this under a lamp just now for you.

Whether or not this is an L/11 is another matter and indeed genuine to the box at all, it came with it and thats all. It's not zinc, it's unmarked of course, and it's not a bad looking cross, I like this one with the different tones in colour.
