Have any of you ever seen this FAKE RK ?

Don't feel bad, I bought a KC just like yours except maker mark L/12. It cost me $2,000 and was purchased from a renowned KC author from Kansas who we all have read. To this day he denies it's a fake.

Looks like we're in the same boat.

differend story , same seller .

Bought some years ago 2 helmet's from this guy , sended my money in a registered letter and got a email that the letter arrived but empty .

I know it is stupid of me to send cash but i did it very much before paypal existed . So partly my mistake to send cash .

i was so stupid to send the money again but thrue the bank , helmets arrived and what do you think , fake ones .

I told him i wanted to get my money back etc...

And he told me he was from the police there , found the helmet by old local lady and told it was a real one , but as of today i do not know a SS helmet with a decal that was turned 10 degrees to the left .

so maybe he is from the police there in that city , but i do not think so .

Post a picture of the ss decal. I am sure the helmet experts can verify it. I dont think it is that uncommon to find a sloppily applied decal on an original helmet.
