Cased EK2 marked "L/13" Paul Meybauer on dealers site

I've been looking to buy a cased EK2 and found one on "Black Cross Militaria".
It's listed as maker marked "L/13" on the ring, I have never seen a maker marked "L/13" EK2 before and was looking for some more opinions.

If the scans don't come out please feel free to go to the site and check it out.

    Thank you very much,
    Mike

No, I'm sad to report that I missed out! As soon as I saw it I knew it was nice and my chances were slim.......and I was right!

Maybe someday I'll find the cased EK2 of my dreams!

I'll keep looking, I'll leave no stone unturned!!

            Best Regards,
            Mike

                Sounds like a plan John!!

You know Jim is the source of the real "Russian Horde"

He snagged the most minty cased EK2 I've ever seen!!

I must just be a greedy SOB, cause I sure tried for this one too. And if I had gotten out of a meeting approximately 3 minutes earlier, I would have had it!!

Serves you right, Jim, for allowing your job to interfere with your hobby!

I feel your pain Jim! I thought I was early enough after the update was posted to snag it.

I bet one of our web surfing masters grabbed it!

I can type fast but apparently not fast enough...............so elusive are these cased EK2's......like Bigfoot, or the Loch Ness Monster!

                      Some day.....one will be mine!

Good luck to all in our quest,
                      Mike

Yeah ... the WW2 Cased EK2s are scarce

The WW1 EK2 cased can be easily found ... I see two on one dealers site alone ... why cant we see the WW2 ones more often?
