My KvKs; who made them?

The 2nd class medal is actual bronze... I've read these are a scarce item; true? I mean usually these sell for like $15 to $25 bucks so what does a bronze one go for?

There's some good news & some bad news there!

Bad news first....'Both' KvK 1's are reproductions by "Flosch"
....'beading' is improper on both crosses. Left sword blade on
the first one has both "flaws" as found on the "Flosch" piece
from the tip & running down the cutting edge.

Good news....The KvK II with Swords is a brass/bronze first
pattern but not in the best of shape. Dropped more than once
showing the crosses 'tips' bent/curved/folded as-well-as, the
corrosion is slowly going to eat the metal unless it's removed.
* Not so scarce either....I have 89 of them right now that are
all brass/bronze version & 'mint' condition.

As Ron said, both of your KVK1's are reproductions. These Floch crosses infest the collecting world. You can now consider yourself "Floched" like so many other collectors have in the past. Once you study the construction of these crosses you will never be fooled again. There is a superb thread pinned at the top of this forum. Check it out.
