SC case for review

can you help me on this one please, I consider it a fake, but the seller considers it period original because he bought it from the family?

First at all it looks good. The right color and paper/leather covering.
Please check if the hinges and opener are magnetic? And does it has a pressed paper liner inlay or a wooden one? If it is still original glued in the case, test it only by pressing with your fingers. Test it it wipes easily or not?
If you measure the sizes, I can control with my one from in my collection. It´s not so nice condition like yours, but still ok.

Case Spanish Cross

Hello folks, I did have the same box, from a estate many years ago which had among other genuine awards and papers, a Silver Spanish Cross with Swords in absolutely original condition so I guess thst the case is original, why do u doubt, regards Ltnt.Donnerpups

I don't like it either, it lacks quality.
A nice attempt but constructed post war.
The outer texture is a big giveaway.

SC Case

Dear Folks, I think you all know that this type of cases are made over many years in the time by 8-10 different manufactures. They use many times different material and some made the cases as well in little different diameters. So this case looks still Original for me, I have the same with same structure etc. (but not so nice condition) in my collecton, for over 30 years! Get it from the Family, never in colector hands, so no doupt about it is a real one.

No ist not the Same. I openend both treads on two different screens and have seen huge differences in the cases. Only one short example the hinge by the one Is covered with the texture material by the other one not.
