EK I and EK II: your opinions

    Hi everyone,
I'm starting to sell of my militaria collection that I began in 2005. I have these 2 EK's and wanted to know what you thought of them and what they might be worth. I appreciate all the experience you guys have and thank you for taking a look at these badges!

OK. Since no one else has said anything, I will throw my worthless, stupid, uninformed opinion out there. Maybe someone will address that white button on the bottom of the EK2 case. What is that?. If it isn't anything distracting, I would venture to say that the EK2 with the case is worth $150 or more. Is there a number on the ring?
The EK1 '65' with the case $300 or better.
Caution: The market is weak at the moment. Part of it is the economy and part of it is that the Euro is weak in relation to the dollar. The same thing applies for the Pacific Basin currencies. (Australia and Indonesia are examples) If you have something that someone wants and it is unique or rare, it should move. If there are a lot of them, not so much.
Ok guys, you can knock down my opinion now.
            Tim

              White button

Hi Tim, the button looks like it is made out of mother-of-pear. I can send close up photos if you like.

                Hi Gerri,
If you want to try and post a straight on shot of that area, I am sure everyone would like to see it. I just couldn't tell what it was from that angle.
I sent you a PM also.

From the pics, they all look good, but like Tim says the market values are way down, so its what ever someone is willing to pay and if the seller is willing to take said offer, JMO. But better pics would help that's for sure

THanks, Greg. I'll post more as soon as the administrator responds to my request for help--I'm not able to post at present, even though I'm a paid member. . . .

                      White button

                      Tim and Greg,
Here are some close-ups of the white button on the case. Also, I'm not trying to ask an unreasonable amount for these badges. Would anyone give me suggestions of what might be a fair asking price for these?
