beads are fine in some places but in others thery are flawed, also the cutting is not centered, I think this is the reason of a strange one.

No pics are mixed here. All posted in order. You can see the matching patina on each cross.
you have mixed the sequence, we see front side of a cross and back of another in the same post, sorry but this makes confusion

Who made the straight arm ? Could it be Maybauer ??

No Douglas, it is not a straight arms type and I would say there are advises in that Meybauer maken them.
Meybauer produced this kind of cross for 4 years at least, how many times they repaired and reworked the dies, as you use to say many times. Little diffecerences may exist. But in my opinion are more the flaws that deceive the eye..

          HĂ guys
IMO this the piece a Unmarked 23
just the frame have rotation 90 degree
and have this the typical frame flaw (only not sharp)
what do you think about it ?

I had a look at it rotated . Still not a 23 . The 2nd flow - split bead - is missing .... and the long die crack on the 9 o'clock arm 23 never had .

In my opinion this is 7.
                    With very worn frame

                    best regards

                      It's not a 23 and as far as I can see it's not a 7.
                      Best regards,

After analyzing the appearance of this cross, this time I agree 100% with Trevor.
This is not a Maybauer's and "23" frame.
I do not know this frame. The core is Maybauer's
