Meybauer markings

I have a question about Paul Meybauer badges; for this maker the code number is L/13, but also a small coat of arms it is considered asfrom this manufacturer, isn't?

They used both markings? or the coat of arms was discontinued with the use of L/13 code?

I could be wrong , but I believe that the coat of arms logo was used on Imperial-era awards and the "L/13" was used (of course) after the creation of the LDO during World War Two.

George, their crest can also be found on Spanish Crosses but I don't recall ever seeing it on anything later that that.
