I know for sure that an original box of 1000 ribbons were sold in UK some months ago. These were good for sure.

just to put your mind at rest , these are from that box of 1000 , I bought 200 from him after the auction finished . As said they are 100% correct.

There are end loops , these came from a box of 1000 recently found and auctioned , I obtained 200 of these . They are 100% correct. Many experienced collectors have already bought them and are totally happy and satisfied . To be honest I think I will just remove them off here. The constant picking gets a bit tiring .

I saw the auction as well and w/o doubt those were good. Factory label and original box.
If these are from the same lot I can't say but the string is of the same color as I remember.
Maybe the auction is still online, if so dl the pics and show them here.
Flinteuk can send a ribbon to me and I will directly confirm if good or not.

We are allowed to discuss a sales thread as part of the terms of the Estand. It's NOT 'picking' it's making sure that other people aren't being sold reproductions ... surely it's for the benefit of the Estand and WAF in general that if we notice something potentially iffy we discuss it.

The photographs are terrible and as I said in the first post ..

I agree with Ian. A healthy discussion is not picking, it is beneficial to both the seller and the buyer and also to the rest of the collecting community who wishes to learn. -Ger

Just remembered that I emailed someone about this auction, i was planning to bid on these ribbons but I forgot all about it. Anyway I found the link and the pics were still there.

So can we just all agree now that they are real.

Beautiful box. Now to find a big box of EK2´s with mm44 to match the ribbons.

I assume that these were sent, or supposed to be sent to EK maker Jakob Bengal, is there any note or something about the sender?

BTW, Did Jakob Bengal make 57 versions of the EK2?
