    Almost mint boxed EK1 L52??

    Hello Gentlemen

    Here is a boxed EK1 in excellent condition. The stamp high up on the pin isn't that clear - L52 perhaps. Any ideas?

      Yes, it's a nice CF Zimmermann (L/52), congratulations !!! It's my favorite maker.

        Hi James.

        It sure looks like a Zimmerman cross to me. The maker mark also look ok, though somewhat unclear as you say. Could it have been stamped with "20" and then restamped on top with L/52? Just speculating here.
        Whats with the KVK ribbon in the lid?

          It came with a broken party badge and a KVK 2 with Swords and I left the spare ribbon in the box

          Thanks for the positive comments otherwise. The box is almost perfect.

                  I just see there is a light "52" above "L/52". Certainly a 1st strike badly made, what do you think ?

                    yes first strike badly positioned and struck better the 2nd time .

                      Very nice cased cross but not "almost mint" I think it's rather in a normal "condition II"

                        Thanks again for all of the comments. Yes it does look like a miss-strike above.

                        Well this cross in rather normal condition is heading for the for sale table. Minus the KVK ribbon of course.
