    Non-magnetic EK plate (master die?)

    Dear Friends,

I have had this for some years, but I only managed to post pictures now.

What is this? Some design for approval or master die model etc...? Material is non-magnetic and might be silver (according to the patina, I have not tested).

Size of the EK1/EK2 on the metal plate is the same as full size cross

    Regards,
    Jani

Personally I would say it is not a period made item, because I can't associate this with any maker at the moment.
But wait for others comments my friend.

      Best regards,
      Daniel

That's an unfinished striking of a one-piece EK1 that is very controversial, with the vast majority of collectors (including me) believing it's a fake. It's called the "Gun Show Fake" and is sometimes found with L15 Floch-type pins.

            Thanks,

I did not have high hopes and that's why it was "lost" in my cabin for a long time.

Gun-Show fake sounds good, since I think I got this from SOS years ago
