Please have a look on the link below. It's a nice CF Zimmermann but the pin has a failure on the bottom. Probably a manufacturing defect, what's your opinion ?

Good Zimmermann EK1 .
Yes a flaw : a tear or crack on the tip of the pin .... from when it originally was made .

Thanks Douglas ! And that kind of flaw was accepted by controllers ?

Accepted .... yes and there does not seam to be any design guides prescribed in regards to the pin design either .
The front had guidelines but the reverse left up to the maker what they wanted to use - hence all the different pin types . No one sees it any way .
