RK Junker variation

Hi guys im looking for a Juncker RK, ive got the book by d.maerz
the Junker Die was bombed so there was no more made after WW2 as ive read,
ive seen a few Lazy 2 types for sale, are these worth as much and as sought after as the L12 800 or 800 L12 variation?

just wanted peoples opinion on the crosses

so there all the same in a value and collectors point of view?
just with the lazy 2 types being late war people would prefer early examples

The vast majority of TR collectors are maker mark freaks. Very early badges/crosses/awards typically were unmarked ... but as you eluded to ... they tend to be not as desirable as later "marked" awards of the same. Why? I have no idea. Maybe it's to do with the fuzzy feeling that it's more real marked than unmarked ... one of the strange things in this hobby.

Don't believe me ... try selling a badge of the same condition ... one marked, one not ... you'll see which sells faster and for more moolah.

I collect Knight's Crosses and keep an eye out for those offered for sale. The Lazy 2 Juncker is offered less than the L/12 marked pieces. From my own experience, the Lazy 2 is far more scarce than the L/12. The workmanship of the Lazy2 is superior to the L/12 which commonly has splits in the frame from inferior soldering.

Thanks Guys im new to RKs and ive seen a few lazy 2 Junkers for sale, i did read the paint is not as good and can come off more easily, thats why i though they may not be as good and seem to be the latest Cross

and maybe though the value was not as much

yes Darrel im the same i dont like none maker marks for some reason i prefer MM
and the none MM Awards seem to sell for alot less
i have 2 X EK2 Ubergrosse as these don't come MM but them are well known as Ubergrosse EK2

Darrell is right. Funny thing is, the unmarked and non ferrous core is the rarest Juncker of them all, and yet people will pay more for later marked pieces.

I think this goes all back to the "early days" when the marking was the only was to "identify" a Knights Cross (or any other badge). The funny thing is that, as already mentioned, the rarest items are the unmarked ones.
The craze with Juncker was maybe not started but enhanced by Niemann. On a strict quality basis nothing will beat an A-type RK made by S&L.

Maybe, but on a strict design basis, nothing will beat a Juncker Of course that's a matter of taste...

There is a lot of stereotypes about the lazy 2's paint...
After how many cross-examination made this statement? After 10-15 pieces....

i just read about the paint in the book, i do no know if the paint is worst or not
