K C Ribbon

Hi guys,

I have been offered a 12 " length (approx) of K.C. Ribbon from a guy I know, the ribbon which is in nice condition has been in his collection for the last 30 years. what is a fair price for both of us. I am going to see the ribbon tonight and will post pics asap.

It's a standard ribbon without the ties, it's in nice used condition (not new but no damage or wear).

I think a full-length ribbon is 72cm off the top of my head. These mint ones are usually around $1,000 at full-length.

I would say your ribbon length would be worth around $400

Just checked out the Ribbon, it's 56cm (22") in length, and 47mm ( 1 7/8") wide,
the white stripes have 25 loops and are 6mm wide.
Sorry about the quality of the pics they are the best I could get with the available lighting, they are high res pics and should enlarge quite well.
If you require pics of any specific areas please let me know.

I hope nobody minds if i jump in with the same question. i have a 40mm ribbon. 49 cm long the white thread count is 22 at 6 mm and the black is 4mm wide and does not glow and from sniping some fraying passes the burn test.edges are the same as what I've found on proven ribbons I've found searching the fourm. its a little wrinkled and was on a cross. thanks

Can anyone confirm it's a genuine WW2 produced Ribbon.

Is the ribbon stiff or more "silky"/soft? Does it crack if you pull it?
