                If you ever want to get rid of this "fake" cross, PLEASE
                LET ME KNOW! I hate fake/repro items... but in this case -
                I think I could find a spot for this "fake" in my collection.

                  Has anybody ever seen a "20" mark like that on any EK 1, either TR period or Imperial?

                      What about war badges? Did Zimmermann make any? If so, did they ever mark them with a "20" on the pin like that?

                          I will tell you wy i dont like the EK. I did see this EK whit out the engraving not long ago. It did even have the replaced catch.

                            If the "20" isn't a maker mark (real or repro), what other explanation can there be for it?

                              I may be wrong, but I think I have seen a reproduction EK1 with a similar '20' marked pin (keyword = think; I wouldn't swear to it). I will look through my files and try to find a photo.

                              George or Frank H.: Do you guys have a photos of a repro '20' with similar pin?
