1939 Spange to the Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914

There are a few nice areas of detail on the front between the corrosion so I am tending towards this being ok. That design spange is by B H Mayer. The back worries me a bit, it looks as though someone has made a botched attempt at reapplying the prongs and covered the whole back in solder?
