Hi, I work at a oil change shop (garage) and when the older customers come in that have bumper stickers or license plates with military units on them I tried to talk to them and see what units they were in,, this group came from one of them. so far I have met B 17 pilots ,Navy Corsair fighter pilots,a pby pilot,a 101st paratrooper out of the 16 years I have worked there I have probably met a hundred or so veterans from both sides of the war,and became good friends with a German veteran from a GD unit that just passed away...it seems day by day we are losing so many of our veterans so I try to speak to many of them as I can.
